These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of construction services by Anttal Constructions (‘the Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) to any individual or entity (‘Client’, ‘you’, or ‘your’) who engages our services. By accepting a quote, signing a contract, or instructing us to commence work, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. About Us

Anttal Constructions is an established construction business with over +3 years of industry experience, providing quality bricklaying and tiling services throughout Melbourne and the Geelong region. We are committed to delivering reliable, professional, and high-quality workmanship on every project. 

2. Services

Anttal Constructions offers the following construction services:

•  Bricklaying Services – Including new construction, extensions, retaining walls, feature walls, and associated masonry work.
• Tiling Services – Including floor and wall tiling for residential and commercial properties, outdoor areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and other spaces. 

The specific scope of works, materials, timelines, and pricing for each project will be outlined in a written quote or contract provided to the Client prior to commencement of works.

3. Quotes and Scope of Work

• All quotes are based on the information available at the time of inspection or discussion.
• If site conditions differ from what was originally assessed, or if additional work is requested, adjustments to pricing or timelines may apply.
• Any variations should be agreed to in writing before additional work proceeds.

4. Pricing and Payments

Pricing will be outlined in your quote or invoice. Payment terms will be agreed upon before work commences. In general:

• A deposit may be required before work begins.

   

• Progress payments may apply depending on the nature of the project.

   

• Final payment is due upon completion of agreed works.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension of works until outstanding amounts are resolved.

5. Materials

• Materials may be supplied either by the client or by Anttal Constructions, depending on the agreement.
• Where materials are supplied by third parties, we are not responsible for manufacturing defects or performance issues beyond our control.
• If clients supply their own materials, responsibility for the suitability and quality of those materials remains with the client.

6. Timeframes

Estimated start and completion dates are indicative only.

Work schedules may be affected by:

• Weather conditions

   

• Material availability

   

• Site access issues

   

• Unforeseen structural conditions

   

• Delays beyond reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to keep clients informed of any changes.

7. Site Access and Responsibilities

Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the worksite during agreed working hours. Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for obtaining necessary permits, approvals, or council permissions required for the project.

8. Workmanship

Anttal Constructions aims to carry out all work in a professional manner consistent with relevant industry standards.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, Anttal Constructions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the provision of services.
• Our responsibility is limited to addressing issues directly related to the services provided, where required by law.

10. Health and Safety

• We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
• Clients must ensure that children, pets, and unauthorised persons are kept clear of active work areas.

11. Cancellations

If a project is cancelled after acceptance, reasonable costs incurred up to that point may be payable.

12. Dispute Resolution

• If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through open and reasonable communication.
• If resolution cannot be reached, either party may seek guidance from an appropriate dispute resolution body within Victoria.

13. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and will not share client information except where required by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

15. Amendments to Terms

Anttal Constructions reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will take effect upon publication on our website or notification to the Client. Continued engagement of our services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
